This engine with 110 horsepower and 200 NM torque is sold with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission. Using the 1.0 eTSI 110 PS engine, the Golf 8 takes 10.2 seconds to reach 0 to 100, with a top speed of 202 km/h. Volkswagen Golf Impression with this engine is sold with Life, Style and R-Line equipment options. The base model of the 2023 Volkswagen Golf has Impression, while the fullest model has R-Line equipment.

The other engine option of the 2023 Volkswagen Golf is the 1.5-liter 4-cylinder eTSI engine. This engine with 150 horsepower and 250 NM torque is only sold with a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
